The MDW 9040 Pocket Phone was designed to work with Avaya phone systems including Partner, Merlin, Merlin Legend, Merlin Magix and Definity switches.
The MDW 9040 is NOT backward compatible with other TransTalk systems; that is, it CANNOT be added to existing TransTalk systems or used in the same coverage area as the MDW 9000, MDW 9010, MDW 9030, or MDW 9031.
